Addiction to Harry Potter fanfiction can manifest itself in several ways. We here at The Hogs Head love to embrace the abstract and non-canon. If you have ever loved an AU fic, or loved a ship that completely separates itself from canon, then you are like us. We, as you have yourself, have been in love with the Darker side of fanfiction, in that we do not need or want to read about the One Big Happy Weasley Family to get enjoyment from a story. We do not need to see a story parallel canon so that its just a mild re-telling. We are lovers of things considered unusual and abnormal in the Potter fandom. On our podcast, we will discuss and dissect these fics much like a group of friends sitting around a table.
